- Team BCS Homeschool Adventures A free meetup group for homeschool families in Bryan–College Station, aimed at elementary-age kids. They visit as many BCS parks as they can through the year, and add holiday parties, themed get-togethers and field trips. The goal is a fun, welcoming group where kids form close friendships. - Team Bluebonnet Children's Choir, grades 2–8 A free community children's choir for 2nd–8th graders across the Brazos Valley, led by local music teachers and performers. Singers learn tone, pitch and harmony, play handbells and rhythm instruments, and perform in concerts through the season. Voice parts are set by group voicing in the first month; there are no individual auditions. The choir rehearses in a church but is not affiliated with one. After school Free Ages 7–14 Bryan

- Class PReMa — Program for Research in Mathematics A free, mentored research program for self-motivated high-school students run by the Texas A&M Department of Mathematics. Students work individually or in small groups with faculty and graduate mentors on real math research, then often present at a spring high-school research conference on campus. A self-guided visit, not a factory tour: a visitor centre and museum on the company's history, an observation deck over the line where ice cream is filled and packaged, an ice cream parlor, and a country store. - College Station College Station Fire Department — station tours A standing, bookable station tour: a walk through the station, what a firefighter's day looks like, and the apparatus and tools. Crews stay in service and may leave on a call mid-visit. Book ahead Free Ages 3+
- College Station Gabbard Park A ten-acre neighbourhood park with a fishing pond, playground, picnic shelter and a short trail, plus ducks and turtles. - College Station Lick Creek Park A 515-acre natural area on the south edge of College Station: unpaved trails through post-oak savannah and bottomland, wildflowers in spring, and a nature centre near the trailhead. - College Station Stephen C. Beachy Central Park College Station's main park, and the better of the two local kid-fishing ponds. A TPWD Neighborhood Fishin' site: the smaller pond is stocked with channel catfish roughly every two to four weeks from late April into early November, except August. Children 16 and under fish free; adults need a Texas freshwater licence. Pole-and-line only, two poles per person, five fish a day.
