Dual credit and college classes

Blinn College dual credit is the local way for high-schoolers to earn college credit. Texas A&M University is also a local campus option. Confirm current rules, prerequisites, and deadlines with the college — and, where applicable, with your homeschool umbrella — before you enroll.

Weekday kids’-eat-free and cheap meals

Some local restaurants run kids-eat-free or discounted kids’ meals on weeknights. These offers change often — call the restaurant or check its site before you go. Treat this as a starting point, not a live feed.

Library and museum starting points

The Bryan + College Station Public Library, the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History, and the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library are all free or low-cost, family-friendly, and worth a visit.

Homeschool-friendly shops

A few local shops run homeschool-friendly offers. If you know of a current, verified deal, suggest it and we’ll look into it.
