Stephen C. Beachy Central Park
College Station's main park, and the better of the two local kid-fishing ponds. A TPWD Neighborhood Fishin' site: the smaller pond is stocked with channel catfish roughly every two to four weeks from late April into early November, except August. Children 16 and under fish free; adults need a Texas freshwater licence. Pole-and-line only, two poles per person, five fish a day. Playground and splash pad on the same property.
