Oxymorons improv, ages 10–18 — Brazos Valley TROUPE
The Oxymorons are TROUPE's youth improv team for ages 10–18 (about 5th through 12th grade). They perform a family-friendly show about one weekend a month, and students may choose which shows to join. Practice covers thinking on your feet, speaking in front of people, and working as a team. There is no class the Sunday after a show. Ages 10–12 are asked to finish a semester of Act UP!, or to have other theater experience, first. Adult members can take the monthly adult improv workshops, which are free for members. It is a community theater, not a church program.
