Basketball — Central Sports
Central Church's community youth basketball league in College Station — open to the broader BCS community, not homeschool-only. Emphasis on dribbling, passing, shooting, rules, defense and sportsmanship; all skill levels welcome. Published rules describe 1st–2nd, 3rd–6th and 5th–6th grade divisions. Central keeps no league standings; ties stand; a substitution system is designed so every child plays at least half the game and playing time is virtually even over the season. Before each game a devotional and prayer are led over the sound system.

- 2026–27: practices from the week of 7 December 2026 through the week of 27 February 2027. Saturday games 9 January–27 February 2027. Recurring pattern: winter, roughly December–February. Typical in past seasons (not stated on the 2026–27 page): one evening a week, Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, around 5:30, 6:30 or 7:30 p.m.
