The Gardens at Texas A&M University
A teaching garden on the Texas A&M campus, including the Leach Teaching Gardens, with a staff-led field-trip program for Pre-K through high school: a lesson and activity on plants, food production, pollinators, and sustainability, with about half a mile of walking. Homeschool groups are named as welcome. Programs run Tuesday to Friday, August through May.

- Submit the School Group Request Form at least 3 weeks ahead. Tue–Fri, Aug 1–May 31, morning or afternoon. Groups over 25 students are split. Chaperones required: 1 adult per 6 (Pre-K–K), 8 (grades 1–5), 10 (6–8), 12 (9–12). No food for sale; bring a packed lunch. Dress for the weather, with water, sunscreen, and walking shoes.
