Data…Football…Texas. A perfect combination! Join us for the Football Analytics Symposium at Texas A&M University (F.A.S.T.) on Friday, November 13 in the Ford Hall of Champions at Kyle Field. F.A.S.T. is a unique, one-day event that brings together academic experts and industry practitioners from varying perspectives, including on-field analytics (i.e., player tracking data), sport business analytics (i.e., attendance, revenue, stadium issues), and human performance (i.e., injury prevention). The goal is to provide learning opportunities for students of sport data science from varying academic fields, including data science, engineering, kinesiology, sport management, statistics, and others. In addition, students will be able to share their football analytics research during a poster fair, providing an opportunity to receive valuable input from both academics and practitioners. The event’s one-day format makes it cost efficient and economical for students from throughout Central Texas and beyond to attend, with student registration costing only $50.
