Computing and Learning Interdisciplinary Collaboration (CLIC) Research Interest Group Kickoff Meeting & Spark Session About CLIC The Computing and Learning Interdisciplinary Collaboration (CLIC) Research Interest Group was created to foster collaboration between researchers in the Department of Teaching, Learning & Culture (TLAC), the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSCE), and the broader research community beyond. Come meet colleagues, exchange ideas, and find prospective collaborators for future interdisciplinary projects. CLIC hosts biweekly meetings across two dynamic formats: Faculty Spark Sessions (In-Person | Lunch Provided): Feature leading TLAC and CSCE faculty sharing completed or ongoing collaborative research projects, emerging research questions, and design challenges in a brief, conversation-oriented format. Lunch will be provided for all in-person sessions. Invited Talks (Virtual via Zoom): Feature distinguished external scholars whose work bridges AI, computing, learning sciences, teacher education, human-computer interaction, and equity-oriented technology design. Our Fall line-up includes Dr. Victor Lee (Stanford University) and Dr. Aman Yadav (Michigan State University). The CLIC Research Interest Group is co-led by Drs. Li-Jen Kuo, Tracy Hammond, Tuğçe Aldemir, and Sharon Matthews, and supported by a CEHD Catalyst Grant.
