A monthly, family-oriented chess gathering at the Oakmont Amenity Center in Bryan for ages 4–18. All skill levels are welcome. Chess boards, light snacks, and door prizes are provided. A parent or guardian must stay with the child; this is not a drop-off activity. Casual play, not a rated tournament, and not the Brazos Valley Chess Association. Usually the first Tuesday of the month, 5:30–7:00 p.m., but the date changes on occasion — the Facebook group is the way to confirm the next meeting. Email [email protected].
