The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board will host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 5:30 p.m. at the American Pavilion in Veterans Park and Athletic Complex. The ceremony honors military veterans through a program that includes readings, performances, and formal tributes. It will open with the “Honor Wall Roll Call,” a reading of the names of veterans recently added to the memorial’s Wall of Honor. The program will also feature the national anthem, a service medley recognizing Brazos Valley heroes, a rifle salute by the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Ross Volunteers, and Taps. Greg Vogel, director of the Intelligence Studies Program at the Bush School and a retired Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer who served in the Directorate of Operations, will deliver the keynote address.
