DESCRIPTION:New and experienced birders are invited to sharpen their skills
  at Birding 101 with the Rio Brazos Audubon Society. The free program meet
 s on the first Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at the Gary Halter Natu
 re Center and includes a hike along the Lick Creek Park trails.\nLearn to 
 identify birds by sight and sound\, use field guides and binoculars\, and 
 explore the Brazos Valley's native and migrating species. Dress for the ou
 tdoors and wear closed-toed shoes. Binoculars are available to borrow at t
 he nature center.\nThis program has been offered for more than a decade th
 anks to the dedication of Rio Brazos Audubon Society volunteers.\nFor more
