Speaker: Nilabja Guha is a Lecturer/Assistant Professor of Probability and Statistics in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Manchester. Before joining the University of Manchester, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at UMass Lowell. Prior to joining UMass Lowell, he was a postdoctoral researcher jointly affiliated with the Department of Statistics and the Institute for Scientific Computation in the Department of Mathematics at TAMU. His research interests include Bayesian modeling of high-dimensional problems, change-point detection, inverse problems and uncertainty quantification, and probabilistic graphical models.
